3 Weeks In Southeast Asia

{embedHtml, j-3o_wbSziw, 3 Weeks In Southeast Asia, Highlights from my Southeast Asia trip this past May (2017). After my trip to Japan, my friend Bekah and I had a quick layover in Hong Kong. We flew directly to Phuket to begin the Southeast Asia Journey!

THAILAND (Phuket and Koh Phi Phi)

We arrived in Phuket but hardly saw much here. We took a cab and ferry to Koh Phi Phi, where we partied and spent several full days getting PADI scuba certified. Unfortunately, we did not get any footage of the scuba diving.

CAMBODIA (Siem Reap)

We spent several days in Cambodia in Siem Reap. Most of our time was spent walking around the night market, hanging out at party hostel pools, and then doing a day trip to see Angkor Wat and the surrounding ancient ruins.

VIETNAM (Hanoi, Catba, Ninh Binh)

From Cambodia, we flew to Hanoi, Vietnam. We spent the day wandering around the city in the rain, then caught a bus and ferry to Catba. We stayed 3 days at an Airbnb called “Little Cat Ba” (I highly recommend this place)! They had free buffet style, homemade breakfast and mopeds free to use for any guests.

We rode mopeds into the city and around the entire island at Catba. We also took a day boat trip to see Ha Long Bay, ride kayaks, and eat on a floating restaurant.

After Catba, Bekah took a bus and ferry back to Hanoi, as she had to return home to Los Angeles, California. I took a bus and ferry to Ninh Binh and stayed a few days there alone, making friends in my hostel and riding a moped around aimlessly.

From Ninh Binh, I headed north to Hanoi for a few nights, exploring the city more, making new friends, and seeing a few local sights like the prison and water puppet show.

This wrapped up the epic 1 month trip to Asia. It was definitely one for the books!, .
